We collect what we need to ship you a cap and nothing more. Here's the detail.
What We Collect
When you place an order or sign up to our newsletter, we collect your name, email, shipping address, phone number (optional), and payment details. Payment information is handled directly by Shopify Payments and Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
Why We Collect It
To process and ship your order, send order updates, respond to support enquiries, and (if you opt in) tell you about new drops. That's it. We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.
Who We Share It With
Only the partners we need to run the shop: Shopify (storefront and payments), our shipping carrier (Australia Post or equivalent), and our email platform for order confirmations and newsletters. Each partner is bound by their own privacy obligations.
Cookies
Our site uses essential cookies to keep your cart working and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) to understand what pages people visit. You can disable cookies in your browser, though checkout may not work properly without them.
Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@dadhatco.com.au and we'll action it within 30 days.
Marketing
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter any time using the link at the bottom of every email. Order-related emails (confirmation, shipping updates) aren't marketing and can't be opted out of.
Security
Our site runs on HTTPS. Payment data is tokenised and handled by PCI-compliant processors. We do our best to protect your data, but no online system is 100% secure.
Complaints
If you reckon we've mishandled your data, contact us first. If we can't sort it, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
